Ya if everyone got a good education thatd be tight. But wait, if everyone was educated would people be down for still taking jobs that dont utilize an education? Wait bro, every job would be performed tighter if the people performing then had a tight education because everyone could come together and speak out and apply theory to action vice versa no matter what job position they are in. Also, F job positions, what did my one proff say? Oh ya that ideal worker performs multiple jobs. Would it really hurt for professors to have to take out their own trash too? Or at restaurants to have to put up our own dishes? Come to think of it all of the jobs that we call “unskilled” are the messy ones. We never want to look at our mess. That reminds me of Kundera on shit and kitch. But anyways, yeah, we dont want to look at our poop, our trash, our leftovers, but it would be way better if we did! Because if everyone had to partake in every part of a process we would have such a better life! The only reason people are cool with the way thigns are is because they arent the ones that have to do the messy parts they can blind themselves to it. and sure the people who have to carry out the mess we blind ourselves to resist, but then we just blind ourselves to that too by watching Gossip Girl instead of reading!
OH oh oh. I just realized that what my professor was talking about marx/engels while saying that everyone should do multiple parts of a process. Now that my brain had its own “oh shit!” moment, I got a whole new respect for their legacy.

life in bordertowns where maquilas are is incomprehensible to me
over the past decade the deaths of young women in those areas have been steadily increasing. Women are the preferred labor in maquilas, and if they are not accepted there they can work in the home or prostitute them self. Prostitution pays more than the factory, either way they are reduced to an interchangeable body parts so the murders are easy.
All I do now is give some of my moments to complete silence and thought for those struggling there.

So I’m browsing the OUSD website to see if there is school tomorrow or not, and there’s this huge red button that says “BUDGET RESOURCES”. I think its tight that the school district decided to heavily break with the design of their website to put in this huge red button so I click it.
First stats I see:
“• Four-year decline of 3,171 students—enough to fill up to 10 schools
• 2006—2007: 39,964 (non-charter, non-SDC students)
• 2009—2010: 36,793 (Day 15 counts; non-charter, non-SDC students)”
I am pretty positive that the population has been increasing in general so this decrease of students in school is so sad. To some, the recession is something that happened in August 2008. To many, the recession is still happening, its going on right now, and our lives are only getting harder with the schools budget cuts.
Offering public schools are not enough, it forgets that the leisure of sending kids to school is a PRIVILEGE. I think that the government has a responsibility to make sure that every one gets an education up through highschool, even if it means subsidizing the family with the money the child would get by working and providing better transportation somehow.
Once that gets established, we will just have to worry about students not just showing up at school, but getting an enriching education there. Oh joy!!
